MAPLE PRALINE FRIED CAMEMBERT
Who doesn’t love cheese? Well how about deep fried cheese? Take a look at this cheesy treat that’s deep-fried and covered in McVitie’s Digestives, pecans, and cranberries, all topped with a sweet maple sauce.

INGREDIENTS
- Blend McVitie’s Digestives and pecans in food processor
- Whisk egg in bowl
- Cut the camembert into small wedges
- Dip wedges into flour, then coat with egg, and then digestive crumbs. Ensure the cheese is well covered
- Heat the oil to 180 degrees Celsius. Drop a crumb in the oil to test readiness.
- Cook the camembert until golden brown and floating, and then drain the camembert on absorbency paper
- To make maple glaze
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine brown sugar, maple syrup, butter, and cinnamon. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, until foamy, about 1-2 minutes. Stir in pecans and cranberries.
- Drizzle maple glaze over fried camembert and serve while hot
